The Road Home

7″X5″ Watercolour on paper

Actually I drive East in the mornings and West in the evenings, so it might just as well be the road there. It always amazes me that there aren’t more accidents as this time of year. The sun is almost totally blinding at one point in my journey, directly in front of me and too low for the sun-visor to do any good. Still, it won’t be long, the days are getting longer even if it is still -12C.

    Hello Sarah
You have captured the sunset well. This is very atmosperic. I hope you were watching the road whilst driving.

Beautiful painting. The glare off the ice covered snow feels so cold the sun just whimpers. Temperatures and snow like you’ve depicted here turn my area into one great big traffic accident.
